The Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT)  Spring New Work Series (NWS)  April 20th thru May 11th, 2020.

The Spring New Work Series is a three-week developmental program that provides artists of different disciplines the opportunity to present one performance of a polished “work-in-progress” with audience feedback. Most pieces selected for NWS will have never before been performed in front of an audience. Some selections will have been performed once or twice but will feature new material. We want to see something brand spanking new hit the stage for the first, or nearly the first time. We like to think of this series as an opportunity for choreographers to share an early look of a new piece.  

There is no submission charge. Plus participants receive 50% of the box office.  In the Fall New Work Series, we presented 17 dance pieces over the 3 weeks. Emerging Artists is excited to present a new round of opportunities to local choreographers for yet another year.

The series takes place at Tada Theatre at 15 West 28th Street - a 99 seat professional theatre
