18th Annual Mid-Atlantic Choreographers Showcase

Dancers performing in Foster’s “Stray” Doug Hayes

APPLICATION DEADLINE:January 31st

NOTIFICATION: February 5th

PERFORMANCES (3) March 28th & 29th 2020
For 17 years the Mid-Atlantic Choreographers Showcase has produced over 130 choreographers from 65 different cities. The Showcase has continually been the only dance festival on the east coast that provides support for new works choreographed by professional dance artists.

The Showcase is fully produced by Starr Foster Dance, and is responsible for all costs of producing the concert including theater rental, lighting design, technical support and all publicity and press. The theater is a state-of-the-art facility, designed specifically for dance, and can accommodate a wide variety of advanced production needs.

The Showcase choreographers will receive professional documentation of all three performances. Participating artists are responsible for any costs for food, lodging, travel and dancer compensation. We will assist those who are traveling to Richmond from out of town with information about the area and local hotels, and if needed, help to place you with a local artist or family during your stay. www.starrfosterdance.org
