Artistic Director Alice Halter of Alice Liddell & Dancers is seeking 2-3 new artists for Spring projects and performance opportunities. Interested artists should be trained contemporary dancers with an interest in collaboration, partnering, and strong floor work skills.

Workshops will be held from 11:45am-1:45pm on 1/17, 1/18, and 1/24.

Rehearsals will be Fridays (starting 1/31) for 2-4 hours between 12-6pm. Additional rehearsals may be added on Wednesdays before 3pm, based on dancers’ availability. Artists will be compensated with a modest rehearsal stipend and performance pay.

Alice’s work has been described as creating an “intriguing world of traverse, rebounding investigations” (Stagebuddy.com). Since its inception in 2018, AL&D has performed in New York, Connecticut, and Michigan. Their work utilizes neuroscience theory to access new perspectives on universal human experiences. Past works have investigated perceptions of success and failure, reward, motivation, memory and identity. They strive to create work which is accessible, yet surprising, to encourage audiences to break away from comfortable perspectives and reassess their own stories.
