Do you have a dance work that focuses on environmental issues or the uniqueness of our planet? Do you want to perform in New York City? Than this opportunity is for you! Join Neville Dance Theatre for a special, two day, curated performance series commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. 

OPPORTUNTIY DETAILS

-What: Earth Day Dance Series - a curated and fully produced, two program performance series of works that focus on environmental issues and the uniqueness of our planet. 
-Who: Neville Dance Theatre and four select guest companies/artists (2 guest per evening)
-Where: Dixon Place, New York City
-When:  Wednesday, April 22 (Earth Day) at 7:30pm - Program A and Thursday, April 23 at 7:30pm - Program B.  Tech rehearsals will take place same day of each show between 3-5pm

REQUIREMENTS

Works should be between 15 minutes and 30 minutes and have a clear theme that relates/depicts/brings awareness to an environmental issue or have a planetary/earth related theme.  Submissions must be the work you plan on performing in the series. Rehearsal and performance footage accepted. Video projection available. Marley flooring. No glitter or liquid props.

FEES AND PROVISIONS

$20 application fee per application. If selected, a $150 production fee ($170 less the $20 application fee) will be required at contract acceptance.

Selected artists/companies receive video, photographs, and a percentage of ticket sales. Presented by Neville Dance Theatre. Performanced are fully produced and promoted by Neville Dance Theatre.

Application deadline extended to Monday, February 24, 2020.
