Cross Move Lab Improv Jam 10/24

Cross Move Lab Improv Jam 10/24

We invite you to join us for our free, weekly improv jam No Time Zone on Saturday! This week, we are happy to introduce guest artist Kevin Polak as the leader of our jam.

Trained at Brabant Conservatory (Fontys) in Tilburg and continued his study at The High School of Art in Amsterdam, where he graduated cum laude in 1990.

After his graduation he was invited to join NDT II where he worked with renowned choreographers like Jiri Kylian, Hans van Manen, Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duate, Amanda Miller, Martino Muller, Jean Christophe Maillot and many more. This wealth of inspiration has formed him and gave him the name as a Universal high-level dancer (given by a famous Dutch newspaper).

After NDT, he joined in sequential order Introdans, Djazzex, NND Galili Dance, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Rogie & Company, Conny Janssen Danst & Panama Pictures. Making him the only Dutch dancer ever, to have danced with all the mayor companies in the Netherlands. In 2006, together with Miquel de Jong he founded 2moveDC, a company that changed the dynamic between Choreographer & Dancer, many mainstream companies have adopted their concept afterwards.

We are excited to have Kevin facilitate our improv jam this week and hope you will join us!
