CALL FOR DANCERS: seeking contemporary dancers for project-based work

Seeking versatile and athletic dancers with a strong background in contemporary dance, for project-based work.

Alisa Iacovelli is an emerging choreographer, eager to enhance her work by finding dancers who fit her vision and evolving style.  Her process will begin with several experimental rehearsals to learn/create material before solidifying work for film or performances.  Alisa creates much of her material in advance in order to allow for productive rehearsals and to respect her dancers' time.  Alisa believes in collaborating with her dancers to not only allow her vision to come to life, but to allow for work that compliments the dancers she's working with.

In-person rehearsals will take place 1-2 times per month, alongside occasional virtual rehersals if necessary.  Schedule is TBD and will be created to work around the selected dancers.  Rehearsals will take place in the northern NJ/NYC area, TBD based on the convenience of the selected dancers.  Compensation will be provided and can be discussed personally in greater detail.

Please provide footage (dance reel. performance clips, etc.) highlighting your contemporary-based movement, versitility, and athleticism.  Additionally, please include a headshot and resume.  Send all materials to alisaiacovelli@gmail.com ASAP, but preferably by January 31st.
