Verb Ballets has 30+ year history as one of Northeast Ohio’s most respected dance companies. The company performs a mix of classical and contemporary works by an array of choreographers. Under the leadership of Dr. Margaret Carlson, former principal dancer for Cleveland Ballet, and Richard Dickinson, MFA, former soloist with Boston Ballet and Ohio Ballet, the company is committed to the mounting of dance works of the highest caliber. The company recently moved into a new home just minutes from downtown Cleveland. Verb Ballets has toured internationally and maintains as an international partnership with Laura Alonso’s ProDanza of Cuba. 

Verb Ballets offers 10 month paid contracts, one-week paid vacation, FICA, company classes, worker’s compensation insurance, shoe allowance and physical therapy through the Cleveland Clinic. Relocation assistance is available.
