We Move: Forward, Virtual Youth Dance Festival, is a celebration of youth and their resilience through the pandemic.

This event, Sponsored by Drye/Marinaro Dance Company and Fusia Dance LLC, is a one day event that offers a platform for schools, dance studios, and other arts programs to share work they have been creating over the past year; Honoring the work that has been created with our youth while we have pivoted through these challenging yet growing times.

Through three diverse movement workshops and a virtual community performance we hope to bring young dancers together to honor their tenacity to continue to move… Forward.

Criteria:

1) Must represent a studio, youth dance company, performing arts school, or community center.

2) Work submitted must:

-feature youth ages 12-18 years of age

- has been created within the past year 

-pieces that are both creative and/or inspirational 

3) Must have students who are able to participate in virtual movement workshops held on Saturday, May 15th 10am-2PM.
