WADE is looking for dancers to participate in its one-of-a-kind program in Agropoli from Thursday July 15th through Sunday, July 25th. The program will offer time and space for both physical practice and creative work and will culminate in two outdoor performances, one on the stage of the Castello Angioino Aragonese and one as a site-specific work exploring the body, our community and the human condition.

Participants will receive over 50 hours of instruction over ten days from world-class instructors including Giada Matteini, Piero Leccese, Luna Cenere, Sofia Nappi, Sara Galasisni & JinJin Xu.

Participants will be able to attend exclusive lectures and screenings in coordination with the Agropoli Danza Festival, approaching the topic of gender-violence and discrimination through art and conversation. This program’s collaborating organizations include Sosta Palmizi, Korper International Dance Contemporary Art Center, and the Town of Agropoli.
