Heidi Latsky Dance seeks ODG Assistant

Heidi Latsky Dance (HLD) is a female-run, physically-integrated dance company based in NYC. HLD is committed to disrupting space, dismantling normal and redefining beauty through innovative performance and discourse. HLD is currently looking for a person who identifies as disabled to work on our worldwide initiative, ON DISPLAY GLOBAL.

ON DISPLAY GLOBAL happens annually on December third in honor of the United Nations ' International Day of Persons with Disabilities. On that day, communities all over the world create human sculpture courts in public spaces to celebrate and create awareness. ON DISPLAY GLOBAL started in 2015 with two sites - New York, New York and Hobart, Australia. Today, the initiative engages over 100 sites annually, and last year, due to COVID-19, created a 24-hour Zoom event.

The ODG Assistant will recruit individual performers and develop partnerships with disability/physically-integrated performing arts organizations nationally and internationally to join ON DISPLAY GLOBAL.  This person will work with our head of operations for ON DISPLAY GLOBAL and must have strong organizational, communication (verbal and written) and administrative skills and will need to be comfortable speaking on the phone and/or on zoom. This position is remote, part-time, and hours are flexible.

Salary commensurate with experience.
