Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet looking to hire interns

Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet, a premiere arts and culuture non-profit in Fort Greene Brooklyn is looking for several interns for a six month period with the potential to be hired for the organization. We are looking for approximately 20 hours a week so start as soon as possible. A weekly stipend will be offered.

You will work in person in the office on S. Oxford St. with Jamel Gaines and his team on an array of responsibilities including but not limited to:

-Company Management: presenting opportunities, online presence, calendar management, contacting & networking with theaters and producers

-Grant Research and Development: Federal, City, State, and private grant/foundation research, donor relations & event planning

-Publicity: Creating editorials and content on the company, the school, the founder and on JCGO's work in the community. Researching publication opportunities, contacting online magazines, news organizations, and local newspapers. Organizing PR stories, marketing and video materials.

-Advertising and Marketing: Designing content for our company, our school & upcoming performances for our website, eblasts, and social media posts.
