Matthew Westerby Company is looking to hire two male dancers for two projects happening in fall 2021 and spring 2022. Audition Sunday, August 1st 2021.

First, a new dance work - "The Piers Project." The piece is inspired by the piers scene on Manhattan's west side in the 1970s. The work will be developed for outdoor performance in September 2021 in Hudson River Park, with the full premiere in summer 2022. The work will feature a commissioned score by composers Bryan Senti & Rick Smith and produced in partnership with Hudson Guild Theatre Company.

Second, a dance-based theatrical adaptation of "Around The World in 80 Days" in collaboration with Hudson Guild Theatre Company. Performances late October/early November 2021.

Paid rehearsal & performance.

Dancers should have strong dance technique, improvisational abilities, and a willingness to participate and contribute to the creative process. Please submit a resume and photo ASAP!
