MALE & FEMALE BALLET DANCERS

 
Neville Dance Theatre

NEVILLE Dance Theatre seeks excellent male and female classical ballet dancers (pointe and partnering) with a neoclassical/contemporary range for company positions for our fall season of new works and repertory restagings commencing September 8th through November 6th, 2021.

 

When: Saturday, September 4, 2021 between 12:30-5:00pm in Queens via appointed time block assigned pending application review. 

Callbacks: Sunday, September 5, 1-3:30pm

 

Dancers must:

–Have excellent classical ballet technique, including pointework and partnering

–Be open-minded, committed, and hard-working

–Be at least 19 years of age with significant, professional performance experience

–Be available for rehearsals on Wednesdays and Thursdays after 6pm (September & October) and for performances on November 5 & 6, 2021.

–Be fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination required for studio building entrance and audition/project participation. Masks must be worn in public areas (hallways, bathrooms).

 

NEVILLE Dance Theatre is a non-profit, project-based company currently celebrating our sixteenth year.  Composed of an ever-expanding roster of new and returning dance artists, our eclectic repertoire includes classical ballets, neoclassical ballets, contemporary works, and other dance styles. The Company presents seasonal and project-based performances in NYC and the surrounding areas, as well as at prestigious festivals and venues. Rehearsal and performance stipends offered. Apprenticeships also available.
