Moving Rasa:

Rasa is the Indonesian word for taste or feeling. Its Sanskrit root has connection to performance theory where artists sought to develop craft that connected audiences to the divine and nature. I am interested in using Parcon Resilience to connect to a Collective Rasa. No experience in Parcon Resilience is expected.

I am seeking 2-3 BIPOC Dancers with improvisation/contact improvisation skills, journaling practices, and the capacity to partake in collaborative process. This is an exploratory project without an end goal that will run for 10 weeks starting as early as the week of Oct 18th depending on how I am able to pull people together. Rehearsals will be 3 hours each outside in East Harlem.
