We Move: Philadelphia Dance Festival celebrating all Philly Dance Artist & Surrounding Areas.

What is "We Move"?

Our mission at We Move is to build a community of artists who want to expand their art forms and networks while offering value to the viewers who watch. WE believe dance is more than movement, and can be a vehicle for change in ourselves and in our communities. WE offers artists the platform to create work under certain themes which could ultimately lead to future collaborations with other movement artists, poets, and musicians.   The "We Movement" has arrived in Philadelphia and We are excited to share in this new journey with you!

YOUR WORK!

Choreographers from Philladelphia are preferred, but taking applications from artist in the surrrounding areas
Work Should be between no longer than 7 mins
Work can be any dance movement style
Work should be finished that can be new or past repertoire
We have the capabilities for Live music set up if needed
There will be a basic lighting plot for lights up & down. There will be no specials for this particular showing
There will be amplified sound with a microphone if needed

Performances are held in our new sapce in Mannayunk, PA. Rize Movement & Arts Center's large studio , provides the opportunity to share past or new ideas in an intimate setting!

PERFORMANCE: Saturday, November 6 | 7:30 PM

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, October 6th
