Artichoke Dance Company, a Brooklyn-based dance and environmental activism organization under the direction of Lynn Neuman, will host its inagural Artichoke Ambassadors program this April!

The Artichoke Ambassadors program symbiotically aligns environmentally concious art making with climate and environmental justice action at collective and individual levels. Through art making and sharing, investigation and discussion, skills building activities, and interaction with ecoartists, activists and scientists, participants refine their artistic practices, merge it with activism strategies, increase their effectiveness in combatting climate change and become a part of a growing community.

What will you gain?

-mentorship in merging arts and activism

-exposure to ecoartists and their approaches

-climate activism education and training

-support to create an individual or collaborative project

-a community working to create change

The program will run April 18-22, 2022 from 12-3PM EDT daily via Zoom.

A short application is due April 1st, available at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdrAxJpURnmFkWzSrTjMVA0vuj8xiK-gqTdmyWcJ_6bPJa0QA/viewform
