The DynamitExperience is seeking 4 dancers of all genders for their upcoming projects. TDE is a small 501c3 dance company founded in 2019 that currently works on a project by project basis. All work is issued as a 1099; payment and rehearsal schedule is contracted with each dancer prior to the start of the production schedule.

Qualities of a DynamitExperience Artist:

1. Expert Knowledge and acumen of the Performing Arts

2. Confidence in ability and contributions to the space 

3. Diverse movement training and ability to wield those various elements effortlessly and seamlessly

4. Open to any artistic and personal challenges the work may bring; able and willing to communicate personal boundaries and self discovery. 

5. Strong desire to partner and be partnered. Traditional lifting skills required for male-identifying dancers. 

6. Comfortable with speaking and adult / mature themed content (partial-nudity possible) 

7. Theatrical understanding of expression is important

8. Distinct musicality paramount 

 

Compensation 

1099, per-contracted-gig basis Upcoming project includes:

    July 18th-29th, 2022: 10-12 hours/week company rehearsal (schedule set with dancers)

    August 1-5th, 2022: 11am-4pm Monday through Friday, company rehearsal at MMAC

August 8-13th, 2022: TDE dancers assist with TDE’s inaugural summer intensive (full attendance 11am-4pm daily is not required, company rehearsal end-of-day will be). Professional filming of LOVE: Recognize/Reflect August 12th, full day. 2 in-person performances at MMAC Saturday, August 13th, 2022. 

    Pay is $1,225 stipend for the 4 weeks (breakdown available upon request.) 

 

Because TDE rents rehearsal space and partakes in curated events throughout NYC in venues that require vaccination,  proof of full vaccination is required to participate in the audition, as well as to be hired as an Independent Contractor of The DynamiteExperience.
