Artichoke Ambassadors : Eco Arts Training Program

Artichoke Dance Company announces the third module of their new program, Artichoke Ambassadors, an eco-arts program designed for emerging artists that symbiotically aligns environmentally conscious art making with climate and environmental justice action at collective and individual levels.

Saturdays, October 8 - November 5, 2022 from 12-3PM ET

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: 

This educational and mentorship program will guide young artists to become creatively active in combating climate change through interactive education, training, and collaborative work. The curriculum is designed to cultivate and stimulate thinking, development, and action at the intersection of art and climate, and to aid people in their desire to merge the two. Guest speakers will include various eco-artists and scientists, aiming to inspire motivation in participants to create and share compelling works of art addressing climate change. At the culmination of the program, participants will present a self-designed project of any artistic medium that addresses a particular environmental subject of their choosing, and will receive a formal certificate marking their completion of the curriculum. COST:
