DEADLINE APPROACHING: When Waves Collide Music and Dance Festival Applications 2022

 
When Waves Collide: A Movement and Sound Show

Calling all musicians! Calling all dancers! We invite you to apply to When Waves Collide Music and Dance Festival 2022!

 

When Waves Collide is a collaborative music and dance festival that connects professional musicians and dancers to create new work together. These new works will be presented in our live show hosted on Sunday, October 16th at 2pm in Clinton, NJ (rain date set for Sunday, October 23rd). With this event, we hope to encourage cross-collaboration within our field, foster meaningful professional connections, and host an enjoyable and entertaining show for performers and audiences alike!

 

Here’s how this works: submit an application with your personal information and professional experience by Sunday, August 21st at 11:59pm. Announcements will be sent out no later than Friday, August 26th. At that time, you will also be assigned an artist pairing (one musician to one dancer) along with a performance contract for you to sign and return by Thursday, September 1st. Performance contracts will include further specific details.

What: When Waves Collide Music and Dance Festival 2022

Where: Clinton, NJ

When: Sunday, October 16th, 2022 at 2pm (rain date: Sunday, October 23rd at 2pm), meet-and-greet reception follows

Compensation: $100 per individual artist + photography and videography of performance included (travel assistance provided if necessary)
