LIVING-DANCE looks to hire dancers for dance fitness job

LIVING-DANCE, founded by Christina Wallis, is looking to hire dancers to teach dance fitness classes. Dancers will be teaching multiple classes per week (both group and personal training / in-person and virtual) and this job is on-going. Classes taught include barre, dance cardio, and meditative stretching. LIVING-DANCE is located on the Upper West Side of NYC.

Looking to build inaugural team that is excited to grow and advance in opportunities as the business expands. LIVING-DANCE believes in creating lasting change in the lives of others and takes a body, mind, spirit approach to all classes, business endeavors, and art.

Must have a background in dance. Personal training certification a bonus, but not a requirement. Free training process begins immediately after hire, October - December. Paid classes start in January.

Audition is by invitation only. Please submit your headshot, resumé, and a 1 minute video of you teaching any kind of movement to christina@living-dance.com. (This can be a video of you teaching any kind of dance or fitness. You can have others in the video with you, or you can demonstrate on yourself as you teach).

The audition will be held on October 7th from 10-11:30am at Ripley Grier Studios (131 W72nd St. - studio 4R). Please come prepared to move. You will be teaching a 10 minute segment to the room. You can teach dance or fitness in any style. Details will be provided upon invitation.
