Calling all emerging dance professionals in search of hands-on, international teaching experience. JUNTOSVirtual Global Teachers is an opportunity to learn the JUNTOS teaching method in English and Spanish while building a worldwide network of artists, educators, and community builders.

This is a unique opportunity for emerging dance professionals to gain hands-on experience teaching dance to communities across the US and Latin America. Participants will be trained by JUNTOS staff and will learn to teach in both English and Spanish using our dance pedagogy. The JUNTOS pedagogy is a three-dimensional approach to teaching that prioritizes cross-cultural understanding, including in-depth education about each of our Community Alliances. This perspective emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and cultural exchange as tools of empowerment within our global community. 

We are holding the next training session for incoming Global Teachers on November 19th & 20th. Over the course of two days (6 hours total), participants will engage in virtual workshops, lectures, and discussions that will support their learning of the JUNTOS pedagogy. We are in search of college-aged dancers and pre-professionals who aspire to broaden their proficiency as teachers, and who are passionate about creating a global impact through dance education.

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be paired up and will work together to plan, teach, and choreograph for communities abroad through a series of virtual dance and movement workshops.
