Student Project Dance Audition

Looking for 5 contemporary dancers for a work-in-progress performance, hosted by Pizarts Dance Gap Year students. An audition will be held on November 5th, 4-6 pm. The audition will be learning excerpts of the work that will be presented on December 10th. Dancers should be comfortable moving in socks and must have black leo, leggings, and socks for performance.

 

Schedule

Rehearsals are on 11/5 (4-6 pm), 11/12 (3-5 pm), 11/26 (3-5 pm), and 12/9 (10 am-12 pm). 

Performance date: 12/10  

Call Time: 6 pm 

Performance: 8 pm

Compensation

$20 stipend for participating in the project

 

Choreographer Bio: Andreya Rollins has been dancing for 20 years and is a graduate of Purdue University with a minor in dance and a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics. Rollins' styles are influenced by her training in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop and African. Andreya's credits include Purdue Contemporary Dance Company, Jahari Dance Troupe, and Dominique Morgan. Rollins is pursuing a career in dance and will be debuting a piece in NYC while participating as a guest choreographer for Pizarts Dance Gap Year work in progress showing this December.
