The Wooster Group Is Looking for a Video Person

The Wooster Group, an experimental theater company, seeks a skilled video person with experience in videography and camerawork, editing, and interactive programming.

The candidate should be confident working with video and projection hardware and cameras, and familiar with Windows, Mac OS, and software platforms including TouchDesigner and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of Python, MAX/MSP, SuperCollider, and other coding languages is an asset but not required.

The person in this position will work with the Group on new work and take over setting up and running current shows in our repertory. Duties may involve development of video content, design and installation of video systems, managing video documentation of rehearsals and performances, and live mixing of video in performance.

This is a full-time, 40hrs/week position, through February 2023, with the potential to turn into a permanent position on the tech team after that. Starting salary is between $850 and $900 per week.
