Lucia Gagliardone is seeking two additional movers to be part of the creation and performance process of her new work, “while I was homegrowing”, which will be performed as a trio. Ideal candidates are compassionate, energized movers who are excited about engaging with a long-form creative process, are well-versed in improvisational forms and movement generation, and willing to commit to being available for several work-in-progress showings and performances throughout 2023. Artistic collaboration will be attributed in all publicity for performances. We are primarily seeking movers who are familiar with contemporary forms, but this call is open to dancers from any movement tradition who are excited about collaborative processes and willing to improvise!

Compensation: $15/hr for standard rehearsals, $30 flat rate per tech/show day.

Rehearsal and Show Schedule: Rehearsals will be 1-2 times a week at MOtiVE in Dumbo or Studio Maya in Prospect Heights, schedule pending dancers’ availability. Lucia is actively submitting her work to local and regional festivals and work-in-progress showings, acceptances pending.

May 31-June 4th in Sharon, VT (full work), housing and transportation provided
