Local Produce 2023:

Attention All Artist, Musicians and Teaching Artists:

Local Produce Wants You!

Spoke the Hub’s annual LOCAL PRODUCE mini-Festival of the
Performing Arts is a grass roots, cultural “green market” featuring predominantly local Brooklyn performing and teaching artists of all genres.  Launched in the Prospect Park Picnic House in Brooklyn in 1993, this free, family friendly, community arts festival celebrates home-grown, professional and lay performance and teaching artists of all ages and genres.

For the last three decades, LOCAL PRODUCE has bloomed in a huge variety of settings, including the Brooklyn Brewery Warehouse in Williamsburgh, seven different local Park Slope community green spaces and gardens, in the Old First Reformed Church, all around the Old Stone House and Washington Park, and in the middle of Union Street under a big-top tent as the main event of
the Union Street Block Party.

Post-pandemic, LOCAL PRODUCE re-emerged at the Gowanus Dredger's boat house in 2021 and in the middle of 5th Avenue in 2022 as part of the Park Slope 5th Avenue BID'S annual street fair.  LOCAL PRODUCE '23 will return to the street fair on May 21st - youth groups and professional performers
should apply NOW!
