Are you a talented and dedicated Arts Enrichment Specialist, specializing in using your art to enrich the lives of others through performing and teaching  in the vibrant world of music, dance, choir, theatre, art, spoken word, and mentoring? We're seeking exceptional professionals like you to join our team!


Asase Yaa Arts Outreach Program is looking for passionate, committed, creative, and professional Arts Enrichment Specialists who can inspire and motivate.
Our Focus:

We're looking to partner with artists/teachers/performers who understand the transformative power of implementing dynamic art classes to inspire, enrich, and activate student creativity where academics alone may fall short.

 

Requirements:

- Expertise in one or more of the following: Percussion, Ballet, African, Modern or Hip Hop Dance, Stepping, Choir, Theatre, Visusl Art, Spoken Word, and Mentorship.

 

- Experience.

3-5 years of experience working with inner city students aged 8-18 in public, charter or private schools. Strong references are a plus.

 

- Strong communication skills. 

Residencies will require timely pro-active communication with students, school representatives and their Outreach director and team.

   Self-starters who value teaching as means of sharing culture are highly recommended to apply.

Residencies will require planning, co-planning and facilitating performance pieces with students and school communities.

-Admin Skills. Specialist will be required to create a lesson plans, send invoices, attend professional development workshops and maintain ongoing communication with their Outreach director and team.
