Siren - Protectors of the Rainforest is hiring new dancers for its 2023/24 season.  We are looking for dancers skilled in Sabar from Senegal, Ba'Taa from Nigeria, Afro Cuban, Afro Haitian and folk American dances.  We are looking to train dancers who have some African Diaspora dance training. Singing, acting, acrobatic skills a plus.

Siren - Protectors of the Rainforest has been around since 2008 and incorporated in 2015.  We use dance as a siren call to mobilize efforts for the planet as well as raise the voices of African women through the shows that we perform and the conversations we host.

An ideal dancer for Siren will be able to speak on themes sett out by the organization for the year.

Auditions will be held at CityCenter located at 130 West 56th Street on Wednesday 08/16 and 08/23 from 12 noon.
