Opportunity to screen your Dance Film!

We are thrilled to announce the call for entries for the "Dance through the Lens" Screening, which is scheduled to be presented in October 2023. The primary objective of this screening is to provide a platform for emerging artists who showcase dance through the art of filmmaking.

Screening details:
Date: Thursday, October 26th, 2023.
Location: Museum of Moving Image in Astoria, NY.

Application guidelines:
-All films must be completed.
-Total runtime (including credits) must be between 2-10 minutes.
-All genres are accepted (experimental, documentary, animated, etc.)
-All films must showcase dance.

*By submitting, the applicant agrees that all rights and permissions for any materials contained within the submitted entry have been obtained. The filmmaker also agrees to hold harmless all individuals involved in the organization of this screening from any disputes or claims that may arise due to the granted rights and permissions.

**Application Deadline: Friday, September 22nd, 2023.**

The selected applicants will receive a $50 USD stipend (one stipend per film) as well as 1 free admission for the screening.
