JULY 1-13, 2024

Dance HUB: Italy is a culturally-immersive dance intensive focusing on performance through holistic and mindful approaches and is taking place July 1-13, 2024.

Running for over a decade, this program has evolved and continues to evolve with its participants. This program is perfect for students who want the chance to attend a dance program abroad and gain both performance opportunities internationally. At Dance HUB: Italy, the focus goes beyond mere technical training. Emphasis is placed on nurturing the whole dancer—mind, body, and spirit. Participants are encouraged to explore the connection between movement and emotion, cultivating a deep sense of self-awareness, confidence, and creativity. The holistic approach not only enhances performance skills but also promotes overall well-being and personal growth.

While the program covers various dance styles and techniques, the primary emphasis lies in preparing participants for performance experiences. Through rigorous rehearsals, masterclasses led by world-renowned instructors, and the participant-led ChoreoLab program(see more info below), dancers refine their performance skills and stage presence. Throughout the intensive, participants have the chance to showcase their talents in performances and bridge connections between the local community.

Once accepted into the program, participants who are interested in choreographing can apply for ChoreoLab to set their work on other students at Dance HUB: Italy and premiere their work in Italy.

Applications for our 2024 program are free and can be accessed online. We offer tiered tuition for Dance HUB: Italy.
