Dance Visions NY seeks 2-3  diverse male and female identifying dancers for new work based on paintings of subway riders  by artist Ilene Isseks. This work expresses the mind-set and thoughts of these various individuals. The work will be collaborative in nature; seeking dancers who have their own movement style but are open to direction and who are professional and creative. We are also seeking a dancer to be in other interdisciplinary works in this series of concerts. Dancers of color are encouraged to apply. Audition will take place Saturday OR Sunday (TBD) January 6 or 7 in NYC. Three performances in Nassau County, LI on April 20 (Elmont), May- date TBD (Great Neck) and October 13 (Hewlett). Other possibilities pending. Rehearsals will begin week of Jan. 21 and then continue from mid-Febraury, once or twice weekly (including 1 week-end day). Please respond only if you can make the audition and if this timeframe works for you.

Please send resume or CV, head shot, dance photo, and dance video to dancevisions.ny@gmail.com. Looking forward to your response!
