Forza Dance Company is gearing up for our 2nd annual "Shindig: a social gathering with dance." The event is designed to energize the community with an innovative performance and reception experience - open to all. We are looking for one additional dancer to join our company for this production.

Audition Details
The audition is May 7th at Abrons Arts Center. There will be two groups: 10:30am-12:00pm and 12:30pm-2:00pm. The audition will consist of improvisation, partner work, repertoire, and learning more about the company's process! You will be notified by May 11th if accepted to the next round of zoom interviews before we finalize the cast.

Compensation/Schedule
Payment is $15/hour for rehearsals and $100 for performance day. Rehearsals will be about four hours a week with rehearsals beginning in May until the performance slated for the beginning of September. Tentative performance dates are September 6th and 7th.

The performance may require conversing and interacting with the audience. The choreography is contemporary based, physical, and a bit quirky! The work we will be presenting is centered around women's history and empowerment. Please apply if you would like to portray these roles. All qualified applicants will be considered!
