MODERN MOVES is BACK to celebrate our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY by producing our third emerging choreographer performance! 

Modern Moves is a dance performance series created by two independent artists, Jordyn Cherry and Amina Kolenc. The show is comprised of emerging choreographers from NJ and NYC, utilizing this platform to advance and share their art. Established in 2023, Modern Moves continues moving forward to connect and expand the networks of early career choreographers. 

For this upcoming show, we are aiming to curate a program that highlights VARIETY in regards to theme, tone, and genre. We are interested in seeing dance theater, street styles, floorwork, ballet, pointe, contemporary/modern, and anything else under the sun. To be considered, fill out the form below with your proposed piece for the show and a video of the work. If the work will be new, please submit a sample of your work that is similar to your intended idea and choreographic style. (Make sure the videos are public/don’t need to request access for viewing!) We ask that pieces be no longer than 10 minutes maximum in length.
This is a curated show and we will be accepting the pieces that fall in alignment with the other works in this program.
