FIA has openings for FY25!

FIA is a comprehensive Fiscal Sponsorship program that offers performing artists a 501(c)(3) corporate home without the challenges of incorporating on their own.

It is ideal for artists who are ready to consolidate their administrative activities in one place, under professional guidance for best accounting and business practices.

The Foundation for Independent Artists, Inc. (FIA) provides a corporate structure and assistance with finance and business needs, enabling a selection of unincorporated performing artists to make work at the level of their artistic possibilities and not their infrastructural limitations.

So much more than a re-grant fiscal sponsorship program, member artists receive
comprehensive fiscal administration, including maintenance of individual checkbook and ledger; payroll systems, including access to unemployment, workers' compensation and disability insurance; financial statements; preparation of federal, state and city grant applications; and access to foundation and corporate funding programs.

Fees are assessed at 8% of revenue, with a minimum base fee of $4,000 per year.

FIA is administered by Pentacle.
