Fall 2024 Teaching Opportunities with The Kennedy Dancers

The Kennedy Dancers is seeking dance teachers for September 2024 to June 2025. We have the following teaching opportunities available:


Creative Aging Program for Adults and Senior Citizens (Ages 55+):
Our Creative Aging Program offers free dance and fitness classes to adults and seniors aged 55 and over. The classes run from Monday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM. We are currently looking for a teacher for all sessions or 1-2 sessions. Seeking instructors for Yoga, Creative Theater, Jazz, Latin Dance, Zumba, Pilates, and Fun Basic Dance for mature adults . The pay rate is $40 per class.


Kennedy Dancers Studio - Friday Schedule:
These Friday classes are part of our upcoming play, "The Skeleton in the Closet," which combines acting, singing, and dancing. The schedule is as follows:

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM: An acting class for musical theater, which involves some singing and dance routines for our play.
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM: A beginner jazz class designed for children who are also taking the American Theater classes.
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: Adult musical theater classes focused on acting, singing, and learning some movements.
If you have experience with acting, we would love to have you teach these Friday classes as well. The pay rate is $40 per hour.
