Nimbus Dance Seeks Male-Identifying Dancers For Immediate Fall Season & Future Contracts

Nimbus Dance seeks male-identifying dancers for immediate Company and Nimbus2 Positions for Fall 2024 Season. Dancers should have professional experience, be highly proficient in modern and contemporary ballet technique, and have strong partnering skills. Nimbus Dance looks for dynamic movers whose work shows curiosity, courageousness, dedication, and expression. Nimbus Dancers are adventurous collaborators, responsible group members, interested in building community impact through the arts, and are committed to working at a high technical level. 

Fall Season consists of approximately 8 weeks of work; mid-October to December 22, 2024. Contract may be extended for Spring projects. 

Rehearsals take place at the Nimbus Arts Center, Jersey City, NJ. 

Compensation is dependent on contract type, experience, and weekly call schedule.

Nimbus Company Salary: $500 - $550 / weekly base for 20 hours/rehearsal week + performances. Company class provided.

Nimbus2 Salary: $18-$19/hourly rehearsal fee; $65-$75 performance fee. Company class provided.

Nimbus encourages dancers of diverse backgrounds and gender expressions to audition. 

Applicants must have legal permission to work in the United States.

AUDITIONS ARE BY INVITATION ONLY and will take place during company class and with Artistic Director Samuel Pott, following class.
