Choreographer/Teacher for Public School Program-Jersey City, NJ

 

We are looking for a teacher to teach at one of the public schools in Jersey City, NJ. This program serves 4th and 5th graders who want to learn how to dance and cannot otherwise afford it. 

Requirements:

-MUST enjoy working with children, and be encouraging, passionate, and enthusiastic when they teach.

-MUST be versatile in all styles of dance (tap, hip hop, ballet, etc.)

-We are asking for applicants who are NOT currently touring with other companies, as this is a long-term position.

Class Time:

-Tuesdays from 10:00-11:45 AM

The program will end in the spring, with a final performance for all staff and students sometime in April or May, so please be prepared with the choreography.
