About Turning Tables:

Turning Tables is committed to providing black and brown dancers with the resources and opportunities needed to succeed in dance while simultaneously educating society on the unjust systematic structures that repress black and brown bodies. By providing choreographic opportunities for emerging creators, hosting workshops to allow dancers to refine their technique and artistry, scholarship opportunities for dancers to pursue their training without financial restraint, and mentorship opportunities to connect dancers to established artists in the field, Turning Tables creates opportunity, access, and assists in lowering the barriers that prevent dancers of color from succeeding.
