Moulin/Belle is an in-process art residency founded in 2020 in Mareuil en Perigord in southwest France. Moulin/Belle is an old mill from the 1800's, redone to provide a natural and beautiful space for artists. Artists stay in the main house, in one of three rooms (private or shared). Moulin/Belle provides space for artists to slow down and reconnect with themselves, nature and their creativity. Artists might spend their days gardening, eatiging, writing, cooking, hiking, dancing, conversing, discovering or playing with the animals. Moulin/Belle is located in the town of Mareuil, population about 900 people. The town is walkable and proves everything you need-one butcher, two boulangeries, a wine cave, a grocery store, one pub, one bar, one restaurant. IG: @moulinbelleperigord FB page: Moulin/Belle FB group: Moulin/Belle Community
