Sofar Sounds is a global community dedicated to providing a performance platform for local emerging artists through live shows at unique venues (think museums, small businesses, and a lot more).

Up until now,  Sofar Sounds has been centered around live music. In 2025 we are launching a new series featuring the vibrant dance community of NYC. Sofar Dance is a one-of-a-kind experience that allows captive audiences to connect with local dance makers in unconventional and unexpected places. 

We are looking to bring this opportunity to passionate dancers/choreographers in New York City. If you have choreographic pieces that you are interested in showcasing, we’d love to invite you to apply here! All dance styles and group sizes welcome!
