Seeking dancers to begin rehearsing with the company in May and for residency at The Yard, in Martha’s Vineyard, July 7-20, 2025.

Time Lapse Dance technique is a unique style requiring fluidity, strength, spatial awareness, and musicality. In the repertory, performers wear transformative costumes after the style of Loïe Fuller which are use to embody organic and elemental forces. The work has a strong environmental focus. We welcome diverse movers of all backgrounds and body types who are interested in learning our style, the repertory, and developing a long-term collaborative relationship with the company. While historically the company has been an all woman-identifying ensemble, for this audition we welcome performers of all genders to apply. 

We are looking for performers to be actively involved in the creative process for new work creation during NYC rehearsals (May-June) and our upcoming summer residency at The Yard (July 7-20). Performers should be comfortable improvising. Experience singing or extended vocal technique is a plus, though NOT required; the new work may involve a vocal component.

COMPENSATION
Rehearsals - $20 per hour
The Yard Residency - $1,800 + $50 per diem (14 days)
