1st Annual Barcelona Internacional Dance Summer Intensive

The Barcelona Dance Center in collaboration with NYC STAR HOSPITALITIES is having its first annual Barcelona Internacional Dance Summer Intenisve (BIDSI) this 2015 summer; June 27-August 1, 2015

The classes includes: Ballet, American Modern Dance, Broadway Musical Theater, Repertory, Flamenco, and Contemporary Dance. In addition, Spanish language classes.

Teaching Artists Include: Ramon Oller, Kat Wildish, Cecilia Marta, Adam Cates, Wes VeldinkBeatriz TorresVenita McLemore, Georgina Rigola, and Nya Bowman

Lectures & Workshops: Cross Training, Career Development, and Spanish language classes.

Field Trips: Tour excursions within Barcelona to learn about the Spanish culture, other dance festivals, and how the Performance Art of Dance & Ethnicity plays a role in cultural and social development. 

At the end of the program, dancers will perform in a live performance in front of an audience. BIDSI is open to anyone that would like to pursue either a professional dance career with a company, higher education opportunities in dance or success in other dance related fields. The program is modeled after a pre-professional and professional dance company. 

Auditions: Sunday, April 26 at 5:30pm at Peridance Capezio Center in New York City.

Online three minute video submissions are also acceptable. 

We encourage all those who love to dance and would like to take their dance training and artistry to another level to join us.
