The 19th annual Dance Parade, that grand celebration of dance, returns Sat. May 17 with over 150 dance group, and paraders showing over 100 styles of dance, from ballet to break, colorful floats, live bands, and you name it!  The celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 AM at 6th Avenue & 17th Street, and parading starts at 12 noon and will progress down 6th Avenue and across 8th St., ending around 4 PM at Tompkins Square Park, First Avenue & 9th Street.  Five stages will be set up in the Park for more performances, free dance lessons, partying and mingling.  The 2025 Grand Marshals are Danny Tenaglia, Mercedes Ellington, Runmilayo Chesney, and David Parsons.
