20th Anniversary Movement Sentence Choir

20th Anniversary Movement Sentence Choir

Celebrate Dance Education Laboratory's 20th Anniversary. Facilitators: Summation Dance (Sumi Clements and Taryn Vander Hoop) with Sidra Bell (Sidra Bell Dance New York), Mike Esperanza (Bare Dance), and Kendra Portier (BAND Portier).

Summation Dance will lead the world's first Movement Sentence Choir, inspired by Rudolf Laban's famous movement choirs.

The choreographers will work with participants to create movement based on action words--the Movement Sentence. The performance will also include cameo appearances by the choreographers. Don't miss your chance to participate, perform and celebrate 20 years of DEL!

The event will be live-streamed. Dancers across the nation will be able to tune-in and participate. Tell your friends!

This event is FREE, but spots are filling up. RSVP today! http://www.92y.org/del
