A Length of Rope

Chriselle Tidrick/Above and Beyond Dance, Ariel Schmidtke, Strangely

Ariel Schmidtke brings her national tour of A Length of Rope to The Muse Brooklyn on Friday, May 5, with guests Strangely and Above and Beyond Dance. Schmidtke's solo contemporary circus work explores the significant choices we come to in life, with a rope and trapeze suspended on opposing sides of each intersection. Bellingham-based performer, Strangely joins the tour as a multi-faceted performer with credits ranging from emceeing to producing his own full-length “cabaret riot.” Above and Beyond Dance founder, Chriselle Tidrick also appears, premiering her aerial fabric solo Veiled Unveilings which follows a dancer struggling between concealing and revealing her inner Self, in all its vulnerability and complexity.

Tickets are priced on a sliding scale from $10 - $25
