The Playground NYC allows dancers to experience various choreographic styles and ideas, engage with a new community of dancers, and gather resourceful information and inspiration from the array of choreographers involved. In turn, established choreographers are paid for their creative investigations, are given free space to explore new movement with professional dancers, and are provided with the opportunity to establish relationships with new dancers and fellow choreographers.

Antonio Brown is the artistic force behind AntonioBrownDance. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, Mr. Brown studied at The Cleveland School of the Arts and The Juilliard School. He was a member of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company for over a decade and has also worked with Camille A. Brown & Dancers, The Dash Ensemble & Sidra Bell Dance New York to name a few. Antonio's choreography continues to spread across the country recently choreographing for Cleveland State University, MOVE(NYC), Drama League Directors Fest and is currently the movement director for The Public Theater’s Shakespeare Initiative in the Bronx.
