Artistic Ventures in Dance

ART that MOVES

This program features:

Commissioned works by Quinn Wharton & Ursula Verduzco as well as a brand new score by composer Anne-Marie Keane.
To honor the legacy of classical dance, AVID will present Gerald Arpino’s Italian Suite staged by Valerie Madonia.
Choreographer Daniel Ojeda will stage his acclaimed work Persona with support from the Alexa Rose Foundation.
Additional works by Emily Speed, Jack Wolff & an original composition by Asher Komor will also be presented.
Live music will accompany the dancers on stage for several pieces, featuring Molly Aronson, Laura Manko Sahin, and Taisiya Pushkar of Ensemble Mycelium.
