Activate Equity: Insights, Inspirations, Connections
Join us - artists, cultural workers and other stakeholders in the arts community - as we explore the question:
How can we create a more equitable arts sector in New York City?
Our Keynote speaker Renée Watson, will call our community to action. The two mid-day workshops, offered by the co-directors of JACK Arts and Rachel DeGuzman of 21st Century Arts and Field Leadership Fund Manager Fellow, will give participants strategies for action. We will end our day with community building during a Plenary Session and a Networking Hour with free libations.
Participants will also have the opportunity to share their responses: experiences, concerns and answers, to our driving question with the community via our video station set up throughout the day.
