Adult Ballet & Contemporary - Summer Intensive

A group of adult dancers stand both posed and in natural stances around their teacher in a dance studio

We are excited to announce MHQ's Adult Ballet & Contemporary Dance Summer Intensive for Beginner level students ages 16 and up!

On June 20-24, dancers will be led through daily ballet classes from 3-4:30 pm. After a 15 minute break, dancers will participate in either contemporary practices, classical variations, or MHQ repertoire from 4:45 - 6 pm. All classes will be led by Artistic Director Barry Kerollis (and potentially MHQ Company Artists).

This program will be held in the Front Studio at Battery Dance in TriBeCa (380 Broadway #5 - virtual option available upon request). The cost of this program is $330 - space is limited to 15 in-person students. If we do not reach capacity, we will allow drop-in students at a rate of $25/class. We recommend dancers have at least 1 year experience to attend this workshop

If you’ve ever wished to work on your technique in a more consistent setting or to explore contemporary movement from a classical ballet perspective, this is your opportunity. To hold your spot in this exciting new program, please send a $150 non-refundable deposit via Venmo (@movementhq - other payment options available upon request) and email info@movementhqballet.org.
