Barnard/Columbia Dances at Miller Theatre

Friday, May 1 – Saturday, May 2, 7:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. Saturday)

The Barnard College department of dance presents three world premieres along with a revival of Gloria, staged by Marjorie Folkman ’91, and performed with live music conducted by Gail Archer, director of the Barnard/Columbia Chorus. The two day event includes works by John Heginbotham, a longtime member of the Mark Morris Dance Group; Jodi Melnick, a soloist who has danced for Twyla Tharp and Trisha Brown; and a work by Diane Coburn Bruning, the founder and artistic director of Chamber Dance Project.
