Choreography Spotlight

A choreographer's approach to devising contemporary, traditional, and immersive styles of dance for musical theater with JENNIFER JANCUSKA & The BringAbout

Going beyond movement: The NYMF Choreography Spotlight with Jennifer Jancuska and The BringAbout focuses on dance as a vital and thrilling narrative tool in the process of creating today's most compelling and cohesive new musical theatre works.  The Spotlight uniquely challenges and teaches participants, including actors, dancers, writers, directors and creative team members, to be generative, collaborative artists through a series of hands-on exercises and practical experimentation developed by Jancuska and her company.  Expect to communicate and be more physical than ever before, as skill sets and ideas are mixed up in new and unexpected ways.

$50 fee to participate. Limited to 40 participants.

This workshop will run from 10am - 1:30pm

This is an Educational Event: Our enlightening Educational Workshops help audiences to gain firsthand experience in an array of disciplines. Participation is limited so be sure to sign up before it’s too late!
